Description: Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus & 1301 Tactical Cartridge Latch Lever. Manufactured from steel with a black coated finish, this OEM factory original cartridge latch lever is produced for the Beretta A400 Xtreme Plus and 1301 Tactical 12 gauge shotguns. Located in the side of receiver, this piece once pushed activates the cartridge latch to release the bolt into battery. This piece is perfect as a spare on the workbench or as an immediate replacement for a lost or damaged component.

Fits 1301 Gen 1 tactical

This fits the Gen 1 1301 tactical. A bit tricky to get the cartridge latch to fit back in the receiver with this on but fits and functions.
Anyone wishing to upgrade their Gen 1 1301 to the Gen 2 bolt release, this is the part.
Make sure to get the lever cover as well.

I wanted to upgrade my a400 xtreme unico to the new style “oversized “ cartridge latch on the a400 xtreme PLUS. This part worked perfectly, it is a drop in replacement for the a400 unico cartridge latch assembly. The fit is tight when putting it in the receiver but will fit with minimal effort. I didn’t want to buy a whole new shotgun just to get a few upgrades I could do myself. It is listed as a a400 plus part and 1301 tactical but will work perfectly with the older unico receivers as well.
