Needs a lighter recoil spring

Shot about 100 rounds my first trip with this and had a few failures to feed in a gun that was previously 100% reliable through thousands of rounds. I think I'm going to need to run a lighter recoil spring next time. The machining on the guide rod was pretty poor and the spring was dragging on it but I ran it over a belt sander to smooth it out and hot blued it. Also, it feels like I'm shooting a rifle now because of the blast so I'm not really excited about that but it does make the gun even flatter shooting. Still, I wouldn't buy it again. I have a ported barrel that was more expensive but it has less blast, it's just as effective at reducing recoil, and didn't require me to switch recoil springs or fix the terrible craftsmanship on the guide rod.

I like this true Beretta Mfg. muzzle brake. Now, if I can just get my hands on a threaded barrel, I can get it on my 92FS

I love it. Definitely preferable & less expensive to porting the barrel. Genuine Beretta part. Now, if I can just get my hands on a threaded barrel!
