Description: Beretta 92 / 96 Recoil Rod & Spring, Stainless Steel. Manufactured from quality steel, this recoil spring/guide rod is designed for full-size Beretta 92 and 96 model pistols. This factory original set includes a stainless steel recoil spring and solid steel guide rod. Rely on genuine Beretta parts and accessories to keep your pistol in top shooting shape.
NOTE: It does not fit the 92A1, 96A1 and the 90-TWO. Will not fit Compact, Centurion, or Compact Type M pistols.
Note: It is recommended that all Beretta parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.

The stainless steel recoil rod isn't really a necessary upgrade but if you prefer a metal recoil rod this one is good. I chose stainless steel as I wanted a nice two-tone look for my Beretta 92fs but they do come in black as well.
