Description: Marlin 1895 (XLR) .45-70 GOVT 24" Barrel, Stainless. Manufactured from a quality steel, this barrel is designed for the Marlin 1895XLR model rifle chambered in .45-70 Govt. This OEM barrel features a 24" barrel length, a standard crown, a stainless finish, drilled holes for the front sight base, and a dovetail cut for the rear sight.
Note: It is recommended that all Marlin parts be installed by a qualified and trained gunsmith.

Barrel came in and in good shape. Surprising, since the barrel was sticking out the end of the box. Poorly packed with minimal packing in the box. Just lucky that the barrel wasn't damaged
