Description: Timney Marlin 336, 1894, & 1895 Lever Action Trigger, Nickel. Timney has developed an innovative, reliable, and consistent nickel-plated trigger for Marlin lever-action rifles such as the 336, 1894, and 1895. These drop-in-ready triggers provide a nonadjustable 3 to 3.5 lbs trigger pull weight and even eliminate the notorious trigger flop, so with this trigger, you will experience the exceptional crisp, smooth feel one expects from a Timney Trigger. Each lever-action trigger includes the trigger assembly, hammer assembly, hammer strut, and hammer spring.

Both work very well. Install was relatively simple with YouTube instructions, with the possible exception as to how tricky the spring was to reinstall. Otherwise, both were done in around an hour. The larger loop is GREAT and has eased edge the stock loop does not. The Timney trigger pull is about half the stock Marlin trigger pull which measured 6.84 pounds! The Timney is 3-3 1/2#.

install was easy, part quality was great, quick shipping from MGW! The factory trigger was so heavy and gritty that it affected a shooters ability to make hits at distance, this Timney cleanly releases the hammer with no grit. The pull weight is probably around 3.5 to 4 pounds. The factory trigger was easily twice that if not more.

In every way this drop in trigger is perfect. Finish, fit, tolerances. Love everything about it and of all the parts I have modified on my trapper, this is the best one.

I put this on my 44 magnum 1894 marlin. The stock trigger was very heavy. This timney was easy to install in just a few minutes and is super light and crisp.
