Description: Springfield M1A Composite Stock w/ Rubber Butt Plate. This Springfield Armory composite stock is manufactured for the M1A rifles chambered in .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor or 7.62x51mm. Made from quality black or flat dark earth (FDE) synthetic polymer with detailed checkering, this stock features a black rubber butt plate and a front and rear steel sling swivel already installed for appropriate accessory attachments. This reliable Springfield Armory composite stock is perfect for your next workshop project or as an immediate replacement for a lost or damaged M1A part.

I used the stock to replace a special edition stock on my M1A scout. Lightweight and comfortable. I was going to paint it a camo pattern, but it looks so good as is that I’m just going to leave it FDE

Reduces a significant amount of weight from my M1A. The older I get , the heavier that rifle got. Now I can handle and shoot it again. Did not really notice any increased recoil. I am pleased ! Pretty pricey, but isn't everything these days.

Was notified when it was back in stock, shipped right away. Well packaged. Fits snugly and lighter than walnut. A little thinner in grip and fore end. Handles nicely.

Nice fit and finish. I did not want to ding up my nice walnut when hunting so I went to composite. Point of impact has not changed. My only concern is that they don't have a hangars to match.

I have used a lot of different stocks for the M1A (even expensive ones like Vltor), but I like the original the best. If it was just about being a traditionalist I would buy a walnut, but the composite feels right and is the lightest option.

This new stock fit perfect on my Springfield ma1 scout squad. I like it better than the wood stock that came with it, the recoil pad is worth it for us older guys. I am VERY satisfied with MGW and how fast they shipped the stock.

Perfect drop in fit and nice shade of FDE. Also, if wondering if there are cleaning kit storage area/ holes behind the rubber butt pad if you decide to switch to a metal buttplate like I did, there is. A refurbished USGI metal buttplate fit perfectly.
