This patent-pending design provides a 99% reduction in flash, has been inspected for all critical dimensions including concentricity and alignment, has high-precision single-point cut barrel threads (1/2-28) to create an optimum thread interface, and a DLC coating (diamond like carbon) that provides maximum protection against harsh environmental conditions and facilitates cleaning after extreme use.
