Description: Sig Sauer MCX, and MPX Magazine Release Kit. This parts kit is made from steel with a black finish and contains all magazine release component parts for Sig Sauer MCX, and MPX chambered in 9mm, .223 Remington, 5.56 NATO and .300 Blackout. The kit includes an ambidextrous magazine catch, magazine catch button and two magazine catch springs. These are factory original Sig Sauer parts made to the highest standards for your Sig Sauer firearm. These parts will help keep your Sig Sauer Firearm in top shooting condition.

its a mag release, and we all have our own preferences.
my preference, is this mag release on all my rifles.
you can get a version for standard AR that doesn't have the MCX/MPX button.
since that button wont work in a standard AR.
ultimate pairing in my opinion for non MPX/MCX rifles is this with the magpul button on the opposite side.
only downside to this strategy is you'll end up with a surplus of mag release buttons.
i'm not sure how bad you can mess up a mag release in an MCX/MPX but it would work in them as they look identical to whats in my current Sigs.

With the exception of the push button, this the same as what is used on the 516/M400 models and will work in a standard lower if you use a standard button. I paired mine with a Magpul Enhanced button (MAG568).
