When my son was younger he wanted a "Tactical" stock on his Ruger 10-22, so I got him one and swapped it out. I put the screw "where I could find it". I couldn't find it when I reinstalled the rifle in the original stock.
I ordered and received this replacement, and it fits perfectly.
