Was upset that when ordering it it looked like the pad came with it but when I received it it was only the kick off no pad so I then had to order the pad it had no saying that you had to order pad separately

I broke the kick off base on my A400 when I wanted to tighten the stock bolt. I was stupid and did not look on UTUBE. Anyway, the part fit perfectly and even tho expensive I can't gripe. Earlier two inches of the recoil spring guide/cover end broke off and the foreend did not want to fit on. I was at SC so I miracle glued it until I could get a new part. $2750+ shotgun and the part It is cheap plastic., Not gonna get a positive reco on this Beretta.

Modifications Required to Fit "Standard" A400 Xcel Stock

I purchased unit to install on a Beretta A400 Xcel that did not originally come equipped with the Kick Off system. The stock looked like it should accept a Kick Off unit, but it required some sanding/carving/whittling to get the unit to fit.
I ended up having to use an Oscillating Spindle Sander, hand held power drill with a hole saw, chisel and sandpaper to remove just enough wood to get the unit to fit. Spent about an hour working on it. I've shot a couple of boxes of shells through the gun after installing the Kick Off. Works as advertised/expected with no abnormal or unwanted side effects.
